It is October 12th & we are about to leave for China with the Red Thread Charities volunteer trip. Included in the group:

We are flying to Beijing where we will spend two days to get adjusted to the time change & do a little sightseeing.

Hello to all. I was given a link to your blog by another FCC member. Looks like you're having a pretty amazing time so far. It was fun to see Hope's (our daughter) Dr. is traveling with you. Hope says "Hi Dr. Steinmetz!" She was pretending to call you on her phone yesterday because we were telling her about our plans to get to the clinic for our flu shots. Too cute! Anyway, I can't wait to read about the rest of your journey. God Bless - Beth
